Provenance: Ms. O'Hare is the great niece of the original owner of these papers, Juke Holcomb, who worked for the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway. Juke passed the papers down to Jack W. Holcomb who worked for the Louisville & Nashville Railway. Mr. Holcomb (Ms. O‟Hare‟s father) conducted the locomotive General when it was brought to Georgia from Chattanooga.
