Education

The Southern Museum is dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities for all ages. Hands-on History Workshops and Homeschool Days programs bring history to life for elementary-age children, while the Museum’s Preschool Programs (Mommy and Me, Share a Story, Kreative Kids, Games for Learning) provide a fun and exciting starting point for younger children. Throughout the year the Museum's Education Department offers interpretive programs and lectures for adults that provide a more in-depth look at the Museum's exhibits and historical themes. Many of the Museum’s educational programs are made possible with support from the Kennesaw Museum Foundation.
