A Dedication at the Kennesaw Museum Foundation Grand Opening Event 2016
Following close to twenty years of service and community leadership, Paul Chastain has retired the position of president to the Kennesaw Museum Foundation. As you know, Paul has played a major role in the transformation of the Kennesaw Civil War Museum into the Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History. In 1998, Paul helped establish and was elected president of the Kennesaw Museum Foundation, the mission of which is to provide philanthropic and programmatic support to the Southern Museum. During Paul’s tenure, the “new” Southern Museum was completed and opened in 2003, the Jolley Education Center added in 2008, and construction of the new Railroad Education Center and Archives made a reality, its opening being in June, 2016.
Because of Paul’s unyielding dedication, the Southern Museum will be dedicating the newly renovated Museum Conference Room as the “Paul Chastain Conference Room” in his honor during the Foundation’s Grand Opening event on June 4, 2016. The Foundation hopes to raise $10,000 from this dedication, dollars that will go toward supporting the mission of the Museum and Foundation. We ask you to be a part of this dedication by becoming a “Friend of Paul” with a donation of $200. Think about it this way, that is just $10 for each year of Paul’s service! Of course, all donation of any amount are appreciated. With your donation of $200 or more, your name or company name will be displayed in the “Paul Chastain Conference Room” on a donor recognition wall.
Make your donation online, mail to the address below, or contact Kelly Briscoe!
