Union Forces Plan Kennesaw Occupation
02/25/08

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Union Army’s 125th Ohio Volunteer Infantry unit is advancing on Kennesaw and plans to arrive at the Southern Museum March 8.

“We’re making sure to keep our famous locomotive, the General, under lock and key, since many of raiders who tried to steal her before came from that very same unit,” said Southern Museum Director of Education Jennifer Legates. “But I think we will be able to keep them outside this time.”
